I have had some of my most profound healing experiences during times of retreat and I love to curate journeys for others so that they might touch upon the same depths and grace. When we create a strong container for our healing and growth, we feel safe to explore our edges and meet the darkness with curiosity and courage, knowing we have our tribe to hold us and bear witness.
By gathering together with focused intention and having a shared experience, there is more potential for creating lasting change or a shift in perspective. Real alchemy can occur through group work and ceremony as we meet our reflections in one another.
Here are a few examples of groups of people that might wish to experience a retreat together:
Some of the themes I can guide you in to (and I am always excited to explore more!):
If you feel inspired to gather together with others in a meaningful way and have the perfect home or venue that could host us, I will work with you to dream up the perfect retreat for your intention, timeframe and budget.
Price dependent on group size, duration and location.
There are times in our life when we feel the call to step off the treadmill and head to Nature; to take a moment to reflect, heal, integrate or consider the path ahead. A time of retreat invites us to quieten, listen and become present with what is stirring within. It might be that longing for a forgotten dream, an echo of grief that needs tending, a desire for change, a wish to commit to something new or rediscover a part of yourself. Perhaps you are craving some time to unwind and reconnect with yourself in a way that is meaningful, or you and your partner need some quality time together to dig a little deeper and prepare for a new chapter.
Whatever the calling, I would love to help create a unique retreat experience, designed to nurture and carry you on an empowering and healing journey. After a visioning session together, where we hone in on your intention, I will devise a structure for your retreat, with suggestions for anything from embodiment practices, altar weaving, ritual and diet, to local pilgrimages and crafting ideas. The suggested structure provides a container and is designed to support the commitment to your intention. However, you will be independent during your retreat and free to follow your intuition and give yourself what you need from moment to moment. I will hold space for you from afar, and be able to attend for specific elements such as holding a rite of passage or bespoke ceremony, sacred crafting, Shamanic and ancestral healing, fire ceremony and grief ritual.

"At a time when I had started to rebuild myself after a really difficult patch, I was really drawn to Isla and the opportunity to re-member and connect back to nature. I had some work I wanted to do on not feeling disconnected from my feminine energy, and Isla arranged a bespoke rite for me which was full of healing, acceptance and wisdom. Isla guided and led me back towards myself and for me it was a hugely healing and enriching experience. Isla listened to me and guided me; with music and fire and nature I found the connection I felt I was missing. I only wished I could have stayed there for many more days! It was such a safe space and I often think about the 2 days Isla organised for me and the release and space it created for me in my life and soul." Alex
"Isla worked masterfully to create a healing ceremony, a right of passage, that helped me step over this threshold. Isla has a deep presence and connection to the world of spirit and ceremony. She held the space beautifully and creatively. Arriving with her baskets of feathers and healing herbs and magic potions she is a wonder to work with. It was an educational and emotional experience and I’m really grateful for the change and support working with Isla had in my life." Chris
"Isla held such a warm and open space for us, as newbies to this world of the spiritual, earth-connecting ceremony. She arrived with a feast for the eyes — baskets brimming with vivid flowers, fruits and herbs picked from her mother’s bountiful garden. As Robbie and I readied ourselves for the ceremony, Isla laid an altar with symbols of the four elements, cleansing the space with the mystical and moreish scent of frankincense... Falling into our cosy bed in the yurt that night, we were nourished and renewed, connected to the earth and the elements in ways that we had never experienced before." Anna
Anna wrote in full about their experience on her blog:
"For me the balance of ceremonial time with Isla and personal time to journal, meditate, spend time in nature and set intentions was spot on. I have had a lot of time talking about and processing the particular things I wanted to let go of and move forward into. And so, this process with Isla was wonderfully timed. The yurt is, as she describes, like being held in a hug. I was deeply relaxed and comforted in this space.
I felt a very deep letting go and release in the work we did. And I felt excited to set my intentions witnessed by her. At all times Isla's approach was gentle, open and supportive, although also profound and deep. It seemed a wholly positive and uplifting experience.
And the focus on nature, mother earth, the collective larger than the self really felt right and I have felt extremely connected to this going forwards." Laura
